Hi, I’m Danielle Noble!

After working in education for several years, I got my start in freelance editing in 2020. Since then, I’ve completed developmental edits on 15 books, generally in genres relating to education, business, and parenthood/families. As an active teacher and parent, I like to think that gives me an edge in knowing the audience for these types of books intimately.

My approach and style is flexible according to the needs of each author—every new book I work on has a unique goal, audience, and message, and I love delving into each new book and helping the author figure out how to best deliver the message they want their audience to receive.

I’ve worked with brand new authors and veteran authors, and have handled communication between authors and managing editors at publishing houses, walking authors through the process and helping them feel more comfortable and assured.

  • Content Writing

    I write engaging, informative, well-researched app content, magazine articles, and lead magnets.

    Whether you have an app, magazine, or company blog you need content for, I can work closely with you to create what you need.

  • Developmental Editing

    If you have a whole manuscript finished, you might need a fresh pair of eyes to look it over.

    I have experience and training doing developmental edits on full nonfiction books and academic papers.

    I work closely with authors to help them find the shape of their manuscript, making it as smooth and readable as possible for their audience.

  • Proofreading

    When you need someone to catch the small details in your manuscript, you can count on me.

    My years of studying language, and my training in the field, can help iron out the fine details before your book goes to print.

    I’ll work closely with you to create or work from a style guide (like CMOS) to ensure that my proofreading caters to your unique author voice!

    Hitting the Trail

    There’s nothing like breathing in the fresh air of a new place! I love getting out and exploring. I’ve traveled in China, Japan, Thailand, Canada, and various mountainous locations in the United States.

    What’s a better combo than a great book (particularly fantasy and romance) and a delicious coffee (Americano, no sugar or milk)?? It’s my preferred relaxation technique!
